2009 Tahoe Drivers Side Door Control Panel Stopped Working

How do i remove the driver side door panel all of the controls stopped working all of a sudden for the widows.

Look for brownish spots. Opening the door and closing bad connection or turning the key off and on as to reset does not seem to change it. Recently my driver door lock has started to not work when i unlock truck with my keyless remote. Even if i don t drive it and check it each of the 3 4 days.

Have searched prices of new locks and probably will repair myself. I don t know if its the switch or motor i don t. Typically will go on for 3 4 days then suddenly works again. 2003 suburban liftgate unlocks with remote or drivers door control.

Assembly everything back together and plug it back into the driver side. All other doors are ok but the driver door doesn t unlock half of the time. The auto doo locks do not work fo rom the drivers side but do work form passenger side and key fob. Well if it s just your driver window that s not working on the switch then you need to take the door panel off of the door unplug the window motor and check for voltage at the plug.

Dude trust me dont go spending money until you check this. Very frustrating have always owned chevy but with oil cunsumption and this problem it will probably my last one. That will answer your problem on the switch. All of the controls on the drivers door have stopped working.

All other windows work from the individaul controls. Its like the answered by a verified chevy mechanic. First pull your panel and see if the grey latch is fastened to the door on the harness. The controls on the drivers side door panel do not work except for passenger window.

5 use a hand dryer about 1ft away to dry the board. The driver window both passenger windows will not roll down from the drivers side. Get the four screws out and slowly ply open the master switch. I have an 08 tahoe and my driver side window will not open. Remove the master switch from the driver door side panel. They just don t do anything when you try to control them with the electric buttons.

Before i go tearing into things anyone have any ideas on how to deal with this and fix it.
